OH! I just remembered something. So I’m at work playing my 3DS and this guy walks in and notices the KH case I have on my 3DS. And he says “You like Kingdom Hearts too? Well I’m a very huge fan. You could ask me anything and I’ll answer” in such a snobby manner. So I asked something about 358/2 Days and Xion and he says “Nah man, I don’t play those spin-offs”. AND I’M JUST SITTING HERE LIKE

Wow everyone look at this- this is an amazing tablet, and I wish I had seen it before I just dropped $170 on a small intuos 5This is called a Tursion  Huion tablet- looks pretty simple right- kind of like a bamboohere’s the thing. This tablet has 2024 levels of pressure- that is the equivalent  to the pressure an intuos 5 currently has (retail price: $229 for the smallest)You can get this lovely  tablet for under $50 dollars on amazonOnly thing this beautiful table it lacking is a few simple buttons, but still, I mean, its drawing area is even bigger on average then most Wacom’s small tablets- and from the reviews ive seen on it people are very impressed….so just spreading the word around that Wacom isn’t the only one that is making good tablets- the more the company is  spread perhaps they will come out with even better products that not only match up to Wacom, but are with in our price range for once! You an buy one below at the link!http://www.amazon.com/Tursion-Graphic-Drawing-Capture-Tablet/dp/B008Y431CS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1371642706&sr=8-4&keywords=turcom

I literately just bought one of these and got it today omfg, its great you guys ok!

Reblogging for my drawing friends.

I have one of these, and I can attest to their fantasticness. much better than the old one I had.

FUCKING HELL DUDES.

OK GUYS LET ME TELL YOU A THING
THESE TABLETS ARE GOLD. SERIOUSLY. IF YOU’RE A BEGINNING ARTIST AND YOU WANT TO BUY A TABLET THIS IT THE ONE FOR YOU. IT’S PRACTIALLY INTUTIVE, YOU JUST DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE, PLUG IT IN, AND DRAW. LITERALLY THE ONLY PROBLEM I’VE HAD IS THAT THE CLICKY-THING ON THE PEN DOESN’T WORK FOR SOME REASON, (THERE’S NO WAY TO TURN THE PEN OFF, SO I JUST TURN THE BATTERY AROUND) BUT IT’S TOTALLY WORTH OVERLOOKING BECAUSE OF THE PRICE. THIS THING IS ONE OF THE BEST PURCHASES I’VE MADE.
(also if you’re looking for a really great free drawing program, google Krita. It’s similar to sai but free, and in my opinion better.)

April 21st 1989: Game Boy released

On this day in 1989, the original Game Boy was released in Japan. It was later released in North America in August and in Europe in September 1990. The device was one of the first handheld gaming consoles, making it a groundbreaking invention that revolutionised the concept of videogames by allowing for them to be played on-the-go. The Game Boy was relatively cheap compared to rivals on the market (costing ¥12,500 at launch) and was a huge success, selling almost 120 million units. The designers of the console, the same team who gave us the Game & Watch series, ensured the device handled in a similar way to the familiar Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) with its eight-way D-pad controller and four buttons. Some of the most popular original Game Boy games included: Super Mario Land, which sold over 18 million copies; Tetris, which sold 35 million copies; and the first Pokémon games, released in 1996. Nintendo continues to produce handheld game consoles and the popularity of the Mario and Pokémon franchises endures. The most recent handheld was the Nintendo 3DS, which features touch screen control and 3D graphics; technology only dreamed of in 1989.
